Opening

The opening just shows a date on-screen, June 14 2019. This date is when Project Arrhythmia released on Steam.

Checkpoint 1

Bombs jaggedly move on-screen, in a similar fashion to the old 8-bit style, with a retro-green colour scheme. Small lasers also spawn both horizontally and vertically, alternating between the two directions. This theme then changes to a white scheme with smoother movement of the bombs and shrapnel/bullets. Afterwards, 4 rotating decoration squares appear, changing between red (where a Ninendo Entertainment System controller appears), Blue (the squares change to triangles and a Nintendo Wii-mote appears) and purple (the triangles switch to hexagons and a blue nintendo switch appears, with text on the switch's screen stating "Dem object glitches tho XD". The shapes disappear, and the switch moves to the center of the camera, shaking while lasers and projectiles move on screen. These games appear on the device in text form; "Starfox 2", "Galaga", "PACMAN", "KING KONG", "ZELDA", "LUFTRAUSER", "Starbound", "No Man's Sky", "Tetris 99", "Octodad: Dadliest Catch", "Rainworld", "Elite: Dangerous", "Luigi's Mansion", "Super Mario Galaxy", "Tamagochi", "Don't Starve Together". The text turns red and the switch starts spinning. Text stating "Cocacola Espuma" appears, before quickly changing to "Super Mario Bros."

Checkpoint 2

The Switch turns into a ? Block from the Super Mario series, floating around releasing 8 black circle projectiles. The background changes into blue with the hills present in Super Mario World and Warp Pipes appear on both walls, shooting Bullet Bills directly forward. This then switches to an Arkanoid section, with the blocks on the top of the screen representing Tetrominos. The background turns black and the walls become stretching white bars, similar to an equalizer.

Checkpoint 3

Text appears on screen in red stating, "Player 1, Stage 3". An expanding circle with an exclamation point appears above the text before a ship from Galaga materializes. This 'boss' shoots lasers out of the sections on the wings. This starts with a laser wall down the middle, quickly turning right. The ship then moves up and then appears in the bottom right corner, rotating left and moving up while shooting lasers at the player. The ship shakes while moveing just below the midpoint of the stage and darts forward. The text appears again, but blue this time and states "Player 2 Stage 3" instead of "Player 1 Stage 3". The same ship returns, materializing in the center. The ship shoots two explosive shots left and right, with equal spacing from one another. This is followed up with the ship spinning uncoltrollably while being pulled towards a white circle on the upper side of the camera. The text "Fighter Captured" appears on screen. Two bugs form Galaga appear, shooting lasers straight up and down. On the far sides of the camera left and right are the main alien from Space Invaders. The ship re-appears and shoots down the bugs, the aliens move out from camera view. Each time one dies, the text "DED" appears in green where the bug was. A red variant of the Galaga ship appears, shooting two bombs, one into the lower right corner of the screen, and one in the top left corner of the screen. The left half of the screen then is covered by lasers from the two ships being in combat, while the right half stays relatively safe. The circle appears again, but it shot down. The red variant turns back to normal colours and two pieces of text appear, one in blue "Fighter Rescued" and one in red "Stage 3 Cleared"

Checkpoint 5

A faerie from the Legend of Zelda appears, stating "Come here, warrior...", "You must claim this ancient weapon". Lights proceed to appear around the centre, spiraling. Two triangles appear in the middle, one yellow and one blue and hollow. The silhouette of the master sword is shown. The text "FYI: The sword doesn't hurt you" appears.

Checkpoint 6

Sunrise will send out several bullet rings as he slowly transforms back into Eclipse. Eclipse's second round of attacks is similar to the first, with a few new attacks thrown in such as pulse wave slams and rotating bars. The sword changes into a sword made out of Pepsi bottles, with text appearing stating "The Legendary Cola Sword".

Checkpoint 7

This part is based off of Minecraft, with pickaxes attacking the walls, with small black triangles releasing from the block, the sun shifts from left to right in rotation and the camera goes down until a certain point. The pickaxe order is as follows: Stone, Wood, Iron. Then a diamond appears on screen, followed by a series of items/references to other games.

Checkpoint 8

The Project Arrhythmia logo appears in the centre of the camera, and laser helpers rotating up and down release lasers. There are also lasers shooting downwards, similarly to Checkpoint 1. The laser helpers then disappear and lasers appear from left to right instead of up to down. Text then appears on screen stating "Donkey Kong".

Checkpoint 9

bridges that appear from the Donkey Kong game appear as obstacles as the camera goes up. There are also lasers shooting straight down. Credits then appear on screen of a bunch of different people. The PA Logo appears again and moves to the centre of the screen before duplicating with text stating "Project Arrhythmia" "Game By: Lily (VitaminGames)" "Steam Release Date: June 14 2019"

Trivia
