Flicker
Flicker is a character created by Niko15. She appeared in Settle For Less.
Appearance
Flicker's shape is really complex. She is an anthropomorfic moth with three pairs of arms and massive wings.
Her grey body is made of two triangles, square, hexagon and a circle. The body is the widest at shoulder height. She has a green, fluffy setae on her thorax and antennae on top of her head. She has dark eyes with eyelashes and yellowish iris. All her limbs are composed of: two circles for elbows and shoulders or hips and knees; stretched semi-circles for thighs; and upper arms and triangles for shins and forearms. She also have a yellow skull on her back, which was briefly shown.
Her forewings are dark grey with a yellowish vertical stripe on each, whereas her hindwings are yellowish and have a dark grey eyespots.
History
In Settle For Less Pollen (The Player) finds an almost frozen egg desperately trying to hatch. In order to help he warms the egg a little and caterpillar finally hatches. As a caterpillar she eats leaves and gain energy to transform. When she turns into a moth she began to happily play with Pollen, not knowing yet, that her energy can burn him. After she stops moving rapidly she notices the air is getting colder and tries to maintain it warm, but she calms down after a while. At the end she creates a bubble of heat where she hibernates with Pollen.
Trivia
- Flicker is a death's-head hawkmoth Acherontia atropos. Her look isn't fully accurate, because none of Acherontia species has a eyespots on wings. Her antennae are also more feathery than in real life.
- Her look was however inspired by cover art of Glaze' Settle For Less track, that's why she has a green setae.
- She takes very much place on screen, but she doesn't deal contact damage.
