Gunter
- Gunter, A new hope (Lavender Town Haunting)
Gunter is a character created by MoNsTeR that appears in Lost Evil. He is the first character that the player encounters in its second chapter, and works with them to fight off Arvil and promises to help them against Siley. He made his first appearance in A new hope (Lavender Town Haunting). Gunter is also an employee of the New World Corporation.
History
Background
In the past, Gunter was a genius in the field of military technology. After an incident that killed his family, he left to work at the New World Corporation in the hopes of forgetting about it. His work involved studying the nature of crystals such as the one Siley eventually stole, creating many technologies that allowed them to be controlled or interacted with. Four years later, Gunter quit the corporation after a conflict with Claire. He then settled in the city of Utopia, where he continued to improve his technologies for himself.[1]
Lost Evil
Two days after being buried under rubble by Siley, the crystal defender Hal emerges as the debris is excavated by a circle shape and finds a blue crystal. Gunter soon finds and fights him, alongside battling groups of circle shapes and Arvil. Eventually diving at the player and blue crystal to push them both out of the way and into a portal, Gunter recognizes Hal as the crystal defender and apologizes for fighting. Explaining that he needs help to fight against Arvil, Gunter offers to help the player find Claire and fight against Siley in return. Although Arvil isn’t defeated in the end, Hal and Gunter escape with the crystal. They then both leave through a portal to head to the city of Dysotopia in the hopes of finding Claire.[2]
Description
Appearance
Gunter is a hexagon with a trapezoid shape on two sides. He has two circular hands with trapezoid cannons on them that can fire attacks. Gunter has a circular eye and mouth, and uses a blue outline with a black fill color.
Personality

Gunter seems to be determined and skilled in fighting, and fights off several of Arvil’s minions alongside Arvil themselves. He apologizes for attacking the player after realizing they’re the crystal defender, and seems to understand they wouldn’t trust him immediately after meeting. Gunter also appears curious about the player, wanting to ask them several questions after they escape Arvil such as how they survived against Siley.[2]

- Firing lasers from hands, big and small
- Grabbing onto objects and others with a electromagnetic[1] grapple
- Spinning around rapidly and moving
- Creating portals out of spinning circles
- Summoning giant sawblades
- Slamming the ground to create a wave
- Forming a small shield from his hands
- Able to control the crystal, using a special device
Relationships
- Arvil - Gunter is found fighting Arvil and calls them a “monster”. [2]
- The Player/Crystal Defender - Gunter recognizes him from the ability to control the blue crystal, and seems to be curious about him. They decide to work together afterwards. [2]
- Claire - Gunther and Claire worked together in the past, creating devices to control the crystals - however, this ended after a conflict between the two. After Siley takes over, Gunter believes she is the only one who can stop the world's collapse.[1][2]
Trivia
- Gunter is the first blue character to attack the player in Lost Evil.
- His name is a combination of the words “Hunter” and "Gun".[1]
