Lucid
Lucid is a character created by Topaz-The-CrossCat. She appears in Low, an entry into the 2021.2 Tiny Worlds level contest. Lucid is a nanobot similar to the player, and lived in The Nano City - a place inhabited by other nanobots.
History
In Low, when the The Player stumbles upon her dream world, she welcomes them initially and lets them explore around the Nano City. After exploring The Nano City, the player commented on it not feeling the same and tried to convince her to accept the truth about it being destroyed in reality. Lucid refuses to accept this, leading to her fighting the player in order to make them leave from her dream.
Description
Appearance
Lucid is a nanobot with oval eyes and a square head, body, and rectangle arms. She has three squares forming her "tail" and wears a purple colored scarf marked with a lighter shade of purple.
Personality
Lucid is mostly seen sad and unhappy due to the event that destroyed her home. She is stubborn and refuses to accept the truth of what happened to the Nano City. Rather than accepting it and moving on, she prefers to stay within the illusion of her dream.

Note: These have only been shown in Lucid's "dream world" and may not apply out of it.
- Summoning and attacking with miniature planets
- Attacking with lasers from her hands and body
- Shooting out arrow attacks
- Attacking with bullet explosions
Relationships
- The Player - At first, she welcomed The Player to her dream, but after The Player tried to convince her to accept the truth, she fought to make them leave it.

Trivia
- Lucid's name is derived from the term "lucid dream" - a dream in which the dreamer is aware they are dreaming.[1]
- Lucid was originally named "Yume" (夢(ゆめ), meaning "Dream" in Japanese, but her name was changed as it was more fitting.[1]
- Lucid can squeak, but doesn't often since she can already speak normally.[1]
- When her design and her level were still in development, Lucid originally had a much more happy and joyful personality, and her original outift were planned to be a tuxedo with a silk hat. [1]
- Her level was originally going to be about Lucid showing the player around "The Nano City", using the song "Soda City Funk" by Tim Legend. However, the song and level were changed as the song wasn't verified.[1]
