Ok, I think this is epic.

Opening

A dark blue square comes onscreen from the right, with several shapes appearing to be inside it. It spins faster and faster, until it disappears in an instant while the camera zooms in and several randomly placed lasers appear. These lasers take a second to fire, and all appear at once.

Checkpoint 1

The camera zooms out as walls appear on the top and bottom and the screen scrolls to the right. Giant spinning circle structures must be navigated through, as horizontal lasers appear. After this segment ends, the scene temporarily turns blank before scrolling to the left. Diagonal triangle structures need to be avoided, as large triangle bullets slowly move across from the left. The level then briefly pauses with a screen showing the song name and artist.

Checkpoint 2

Two wave walls appear on the vertical sides of the screen. Quickly moving rectangles move up and down, gradually moving closer to the center until a large laser appears in it and blocks them. This attack can be avoided by dashing across the moving rectangles when the time is right. A circular wall closes in as a rotating half of the screen is covered. The initial attack is repeated again, followed this time with an attack that covers the bottom of the screen. After this, a giant cannon appears on the left side of the screen and chases after the player - requiring dashing and movement to the right to avoid. It stops to fire four wide lasers, before continuing to chase after the player faster and faster.

Checkpoint 3

A wall of small squares appears on the bottom of the screen. Circle pulses and wide horizontal lasers appear as the screen flashes. After the screen goes blank, bombs appear on the right while crosses of lasers appear throughout. The bombs and then lasers eventually double in numbers. The checkpoint ends with the camera zooming in close before the setting changes.

Checkpoint 4

The scene changes to a vaporwave-like aesthetic, as the camera scrolls to the right. Several giant square structures need to be manuvered through, as giant triangle bullets drift across to the left. As the squares move out of view, a single spinner appears in the center of the screen and rotates. After it disappears, the screen colors begin to flash.

Checkpoint 5

WHAT? I thought you died!
- Pixel Party boss, Medusa

An orange square appears in the center of the screen, growing bigger and sending out laser attacks while the screen shakes and it flashes. The square opens an eye and reveals itself to be the Pixel Party boss, moving to the right side of the screen. The boss attacks first with lasers from their hands and then slams into the left side of the screen. This is followed with a rapid attack with bars on the top, bottom , and center - avoided by dashing through the bars in the center, which move slower. After this, walls close in from the left and right slowly with a set of bullets following from the right. The boss then re-appears and repeats their first two attacks. After this, the Pixel Party boss creates a giant pillar and sends it at the player - in the last moment after it moves forward, its blue counterpart from Pixel Party stops it. The blue square then picks it up, and knocks the orange one offscreen. The level ends with the background going black as the blue character looks to the screen.

Trivia

  • This level's second drop could be considered a sequel to Pixel Party of sorts, seemingly picking up sometime after where it left off.
