Level Beginning

The level begins with Nexus and Halley talking about Spacer's fate after the events of Monster. Halley reassures Nexus that Spacer is still alive but very close to death, prompting the two of them to go down off-screen to check on him with Nexus unknowingly dropping her shield in the process. Rebel then comes down from the top of the screen and tells the player 'Looks like I was wrong . . .' with his name and description appearing next to him before eventually disappearing(said description saying that Rebel always ignored the rules), Rebel apologizes to the player before telling him to help him guard the shield that Nexus dropped claiming that he heard the shield is almost indestructible. Rebel picks up the shield and tells the player he wants to test it out and then he and the player can go on a trip through outer space. This never happens though as Quad appears on the left side of the screen and rams into Rebel possessing him. He comments on the power the shield holds and says 'I can use this in many ways . . .' with Rebel's body slowly turning an eerie red color with Quad saying he should control him first. Rebel then temporarily breaks free and shows panic and shock about what just happened before the screen suddenly forces itself down and up with a background filled with up arrows appearing before the U.F.O. is slammed into the center of the screen. Rebel starts drifting side to side across the screen with four green rotating lasers forming around him and green boxes falling from the top of the screen. The lasers slowly turn red as Rebel's body starts to change with his right eye becoming square and his dome becoming more angled. Rebel then stops at the center of the screen and the rotating lasers disappear as red particles start to get absorbed into the U.F.O.'s body, the circle on his antenna turns red and his left eye turns yellow as beams emerge from him and his left eye turns into a square. The beat continues to build until eventually Rebel is covered in a bright white glow as the timeline hits the first checkpoint.

Checkpoint 1

The beat drops as the fully corrupted Rebel (now known as Imposter) fires a laser from his base directly downwards with the corrupted shield appearing around him, the corrupted U.F.O. fires another laser at the top of the screen as the shield moves outwards and off of the screen like a hexagonal wave as static fills the screen. Multiple red circular bursts appear on random parts of the screen as Imposter moves upwards and fires two laser beams that sweep both sides of the screen from the circles on his base as multiple triangular projectiles fly out from him. Imposter then fires two more lasers from his base on both sides of the screen as small lasers come down from the top of the screen. The corrupted shield appears around Imposter as multiple triangular projectiles fly out from his body and the camera zooms in on him before he falls into the top of the screen creating a mass of red blocks the pulsate to the beat of the song while unleashing more projectiles and lasers. Imposter moves down from the top of the screen and fires a laser from his base that sweeps across the right side of the screen as the mass of blocks disappear before leaving via the left side of the screen and reemerging from the bottom of the screen with the corrupted shield emerging from the top of the screen. He proceeds to slam into the shield which fires off six rotating lasers that move alongside the shield as Imposter launches out more projectiles. The lasers disappear as well as the shield and Imposter then proceeds to fire two more lasers toward the top and bottom levels of the screen as the shield then closes in on him in a rotating Photoshop image fashion as the screen flashes and projectiles are launched out from Imposters body as he floats in the center of the screen. This pattern repeats until the timeline icon hits the second checkpoint.

Checkpoint 2

The corrupted shield disappears and Imposter zooms off-screen as a massive metal structure closes in on the player before stopping and placing itself in a set position. Multiple red circles appear and fire different kinds of projectiles at the player in varying orders while the metal structure rotates them around the player (this entire segment is basically a reference to sound dodger). This pattern continues until eventually the circles deactivate and the screen cuts to black before suddenly flashing as the timeline icon hits the third checkpoint.

Checkpoint 3

The screen returns to normal as wavy neon green walls cover up both sides of the screen and multiple hollowed-out circles start descending towards the player from the top of the screen. Some of them are harmless background objects while the majority of the circles are harmful towards the player. This section is relatively calm but the player must be sure to constantly dash and keep an eye out for which circles are real and which ones are fake. The screen eventually cuts to black after a yellow warning triangle appears as the neon green circles and walls fully disappear. The screen flashes again and the timeline icon hits the fourth checkpoint.

Checkpoint 4

The next section contains an obvious reference to Super Hexagon, in which the player must dodge the waves that are being dragged toward the big pink hexagon in the center of the screen while also avoiding the projectiles that are launched out by said hexagon. The attack pattern repeats itself until eventually the words 'Back to the level' appear on-screen as it starts flashing repeatedly until eventually the flashing stops and the screen fades to black before returning to normal. Once the screen returns to normal Nexus, Spacer and Halley are seen talking to each other about what happened during Monster with Spacer reassuring Nexus that he is ok and Halley assuring Spacer that he will be fine. It is at this point in the level when Nexus realizes that her shield is missing (with Halley committing thinking intensifies in order to figure out where it went) and Spacer commenting that she shouldn't ask him since she probably lost it while he was on the brink of death. Halley then starts talking again but is immediately interrupted when he and his friends are suddenly blasted back by a sudden burst of energy. The screen turns white as Imposter gradually appears in the center of the screen with more projectiles being fired out of his body, even more projectiles are fired out as the U.F.O. bounces in place as the shield gradually forms around them. Eventually the shield fully forms and Imposter flips upside down as the timeline icon hits the fifth checkpoint.

Checkpoint 5

Imposter flips upright again and reveals himself before Halley suddenly slams into him knocking him upwards. As the U.F.O. is attempting to recover from the attack Halley fires off a sweeping laser from his eye which Imposter barely dodges before moving out of the way as the comet starts zooming across the screen before eventually blasting him with a laser from his base. The corrupted U.F.O. then slams into the top of the screen sending out a wave of blocks before firing two lasers from the circles on his base and sweeping them across the left and right sides of the screen. Nexus then zooms in from above and hits the right wall and fires off an energy beam at Imposter along with firing two cannons at him only for all of them to miss. Imposter then reappears behind her but she quickly dodges and uses a rotating saw blade to keep him away from her as more cannons fire from both sides of the screen. Nexus quickly retreats upwards as Imposter slams into the shield again creating a yellow and red pattern on it and firing out six large lasers that slowly rotate to the right before disappearing. Imposter then immediately fires a laser at the top of the screen which hits Nexus and sends her crashing to the bottom of the screen which sends out a purple wave across the floor as more cannons start firing at them from both sides. Spacer then emerges from the bottom of the screen and looks around before gaining an angry expression and firing a big laser from his eye that sweeps across the screen. Spacer then leaps up towards the center of the screen and fires off two large yellow cut-out half circles from his claws at the left and right sides of the screen before being slammed into by Imposter and is sent flying off-screen. Imposter then sends down two red lines on both sides of him before pushing them away by firing another laser directly below him which sends him flying upwards and off-screen. Imposter then descends toward the center of the screen while launching out more projectiles (nauter appears in the background for a second with the phrase 'nauter is watching' below him before disappearing). Once he stops moving, the screen flashes and he drops the shield as cracks start appearing on his dome and his left eye stops glowing yellow and returns to being a circle. Quad starts to panic as the U.F.O. starts glitching out and he is eventually forced to eject from Rebel's body killing him in the process. The screen flashes as the timeline icon hits the sixth checkpoint.

Checkpoint 6

The screen returns to normal as Quad begins attacking the player by slamming into the floor and firing out various projectiles and lasers as well as zooming across the screen at mediocre speeds. Quad also sends out spikes and waves and also nearly crushes the player in a speeding hallway of blocks (though the player still manages to dodge this). More lasers and a few bursts appear before Quad zooms in and fires a laser out of his mouth while spinning in place. Quad eventually tires himself out and the laser he was firing disappears and a portal is summoned behind him. Quad gradually closes his mouth as he is sucked into the portal and the screen flashes again as the timeline icon hits the seventh and final checkpoint.

Checkpoint 7

The portal pulsates and fires off small amounts of projectiles. The alien trio each comment on the portal before it eventually closes. The level ends with multiple shapes and mages flashing on screen before three individual shapes eventually appear on screen, said shapes being a circle, a stretched out rectangle and a slightly stretched out triangle.
