Pear Grape (Official Dre)

pear grape is an Advanced difficulty level created by Official Dre for the Gyntening level collection event. It features Moist as a bootleg Myst boss, and Jerry as a substitute savior for Perry. The level was later remade in a sequel, Pear Grape Reincarnated.
Layout
Opening
The level opens with a wide, stretched text that says "NOT HEART LOCKET SERIES" as Moist descends from the top of the screen. Circle pulses appear at the top of the screen alongside square bombs that release bullet explosions. The later half of this checkpoint has Moist introducing himself to the player and explaining his reasons for attacking them.
Checkpoint 1
Bone-shaped bullets begin to move across horizontally. Moish dashes into the sides of the screen, creating waves on the edges. After this, he moves to the top and releases a spray of bullets downward. Next, Moist moves a square across the bottom of the screen and creates a shockwave before dashing into the edges of the screen. The square grows into a shockwave as well. Moist then teleports to the center of the screen and slams his hands up and down, creating several explosions.
Moist then forms two rotating spinners from his hands, as squares move across the bottom of the screen. The bone bullets grow in numbers, and pumpkin bombs explode near the bottom.
Checkpoint 2
- Jerry, Pear Grape
Jerry appears and temporairly deters Moist with a flashlight, "saving" the player. This section features no gameplay, and only has Jerry speaking to the player.
Checkpoint 3
Moist returns on the left side of the screen. Paralyzed, Jerry is unable to escape him and is torn in half. Moist then moves to the bottom center of the screen, slamming into the left and right sides to create waves and a circle shockwave. This is followed by Moist teleporting around the screen and creating hexagon shockwaves from the hexagon on his head.
Checkpoint 4
Moist moves to the top of the screen as the pumpkin bombs and bone bullets return. He shoots out two squares that each turn into shockwaves, and then creates a spinner from his hands. Moist then creates waves on the left and right edges of the screen.
Checkpoint 5
- Moist, Pear Grape
The screen scrolls up as bombs appear across the screen and Moist moves around the center. He creates a hexagon pulse, and then shoots out semicircle bullets from a corner of the screen. After his final attacks, Moist mentions that the song is done and stretches across the top half of the screen while the bottom shows the special thanks and dedications.

Trivia
- Moist’s line about his powers in the final checkpoint is a reference to Myst’s defeat in ol666’s Peer Gynt.
- Despite seemingly dying in this level, Jerry returns in Pear Grape Reincarnated fully intact.
