Pear Jint (Spitfire5)

Pear Jint is a level created by Spitfire5 for The Peer Gyntening. It features Necro as a ghost antagonist, and Terry as a knock-off savior Perry.
Layout
Start
After a standard notice that the level is not a part of Black Heart, fast-moving arrow attacks indicated by a thin helper begin from the top of the screen. As they continue, bullets drift across from the right. Necro then appears in the center after the screen zooms out. They shoot a rotating laser, followed by spinning around to unleash a spiral of bullets. After launching two horizontal lasers from his cannons, Necro begins shooting lasers left and right while moving up and down in the center. While doing this, they also attacks with bomb explosions. Necro then stops in the center of the screen and pauses, with walls covering the top and bottom into the next section.
Checkpoint 1
Necro teleports to the left and right of the screen, shooting out spreads of arrow bullets. When teleporting, they leave behind a bullet explosion. After shooting from the left and right, Necro attacks from the center with arrow bullets and another spiral of smaller bullets before repeating the pattern.
To follow this, Necro moves to the right side of the screen as it begins scrolling to the left. They spin around and release several bullet explosions as the player is forced to navigate through a maze of rock-like shapes to avoid damage. Necro then falls off the screen to the bottom as the path clears.
Checkpoint 2
Terry appears on-screen in the center and begins to talk to the player, apparently “saving” them from Necro. This is short-lived, however, as he is quickly knocked across the screen by a laser from Necro. After being hit a few more times, a grid pattern of lasers gradually fills the screen until Terry is killed by a cross of four lasers in the center.
Checkpoint 3
Walls appear on the left and right as Necro reappears at the top of the screen. Necro shoots a line of arrow bullets while moving across the top and bottom, then teleports to the center to attack from there. This pattern is then repeated, with the addition of lasers warned by the walls on the sides gradually turning red.
Checkpoint 4
Necro moves to the bottom of the screen as it begins to scroll upwards. He uses a similar pattern to the first checkpoint of the level. The wall lasers from the previous checkpoint appear in this section as well.
Checkpoint 5
Terry is still dead
Necro died at the age of 92

Necro then moves to the bottom of the screen to shoot out several arrow bullets alongside bullet explosions, with the walls and lasers remaining. After attacking, Necro moves offscreen to the bottom while a short “Where are they now?” visual section appears. The level ends with a list of special thanks, alongside a “>:)” face.
