Quad
Quad is the main antagonist of nukegameplay's Cosmic storyline. He is a red square full of evil energy, with the ability to possess people by simply touching them. Both Spacer and Rebel have fallen victim to his control, with the latter being killed by it at the end.
History
Quad was sealed away by someone for an unspecified amount of time before the events of Cosmic. After Nexus, Halley, and Spacer realize a red square at the end of Power Trip they returned to it, not knowing it was a prison, and accidentally unleashed Quad. After being freed by the alien trio, he immediately possessed Spacer and transformed him into Spaxor, who aggressively attacked the other two before being defeated.
After being separated from Spacer, Quad fled temporarily until Rebel appeared. He quickly took control of the UFO and turned him into Impostor, commenting on Nexus' shield and its power. As Impostor, Quad attacked the player and eventually the trio of protagonists in Nautilus. However, Quad ends up using too much of Rebel's power, killing him in the process. Forced to attack as himself, Quad fights the player before summoning a portal and disappearing into it.
Description
Appearance
Quad is a glowing red square with two large square shaped eyes, one being black and the other one being yellow. He has a mouth filled with jagged triangle teeth which is invisible when closed.
Personality
Quad is shown to be very power hungry throughout Cosmic, and is mostly silent while attacking. Despite seemingly being composed, he has been shown to panic slightly when he loses control of the situation, as shown in Nautilus after accidentally killing Rebel before finishing the fight.
Relationships
- Spacer: Spacer is one of Quad's victims, and presumably is not on good relations with him.
- Rebel: Rebel was killed by Quad after being possessed by him.
Trivia
- The banner for Cosmic shows that Quad won't be the only major antagonist of the story.
