- Hello BPM 2021 PLUS, Spite

Spite is a circle that speaks partially and can take the form of other characters. Spite, as the name implies, was formed out of spite. They first appeared in Hello BPM 2021, and were created by Siecelesness.

History

Spite wants to try and take you out with no real reason other than simply because they can, and because people remember him. Spite is friends with 3 other shapes of chaos in which they found, those being Atropus, Wrath, and Malice. The relations to spite and these beings are currently unknown. All the reports found in the Kahdian Artifact Facility about them seem to imply that something went horribly wrong to cause these 4 to be free upon the world, originally found in hell. It is also said that Spite can take the form of those whomst he’s seen in the past, such as Underlord and Chao. However, the way Spite met them or any other characters he can transform into is unknown. Spite is a descendant of pride.

Description

Appearance

Spite is a lime green circle with an exterior glow of white and an added glow behind them that's also lime, anything spite becomes or possesses, is also lime.

Personality

Spite is a character that wants to spite the player for playing the level. Spite also prefers to reference and try to imitate the characters they become such as Chao, in which spite tried to act like Chao. Spite talks outside of the 4th wall most of the time, referring to things such as “Hey Ana, remember me? Well too bad!” as part of the randomized text in Hello+. They commonly reference other Project Arrhythmia players such as about Instes and Ana. Spite is also the descendant of pride so Spite takes examples from the traits of pride and is very spiteful.

Relationships

• Instes - Spite loves torturing Instes, to the point where there even a circle reminds Instes of Spite, both in and outside of canon to the point of unofficially using a trumpet to annoy instes.
• The player - Spite is neutral to the player but is more hostile to the person playing the player.
• Wrath - Wrath and spite seem to share some sort of mutual bond between each other as spite helps wrath in 8-28-63.

Trivia

• Outside of Project Arrhythmia, Spite was made as a joke directed at Instes saying that “I’m doing this because you said you wanted me to.”
• Spite's model is Siece’s least detailed model, only having 4 objects including parents.
• Spite is going to have a level series called the “Hell-stalments” based upon very hard and difficult levels with fast paced songs.
• Spite is the only character in the Shapes of Chaos who can talk.
