Well? Don't worry - I can help. I’ll always be here to help.
- Sunrise, Nautilus

Sunrise is an ally character in the Another World collection created by DXL44. They are a major protagonist in Another World alongside the player, who they act as a guide for. Sunrise lives in Elevatia alongside the other members of the Navigator Stars, where they watch over their assigned world - Another World’s nameless universe.

History

Background

As a member of the godlike inter-dimensional Navigator Star race, Sunrise’s job is to find any threats to a universe they watch over and to pick a Hero for the job that can save the world if it risks imminent doom. Before the events of Another World, Sunrise was watching over the series' nameless universe, worried about Quinzoid's recent research into dark matter among other potentially dangerous things. Instead of immediately sending a Hero, Sunrise reached out to Phoenix, who shared suspicions of Quinzoid's actions. However, agreements with Phoenix fell apart with the construction of The Sphere - a giant shield that would wall off all visitors and communications with the world, including the Navigator Stars and Sunrise.[1] Once both the Sphere and Quinzoid's dark portal were activated, Sunrise was alerted by Ray and quickly went off from Elevatia recruit their hero.[2]

Another World

Sunrise first appeared in Shape of the Sun, and fought against the player to test their strength. After they won the fight, Sunrise saw that they were strong enough for their mission. Sunrise then sent them on their quest to the new world, guiding them through several different universes along the way, and giving them a location where the dark threat supposedly would emerge. This location was where Dark Hal was formed in 10000.

In Nautilus, Sunrise was possessed by Dark Hal and turned into Eclipse. At the end of the level, they died and shattered into shards, which were promptly stolen by Dark Hal. The shards didn't return until Airbone Robots, where Quinzoid uses them to power some attacks.
