Term is a boss character created by Siecelesness for the level Terminal, where they appear as an antagonist. Term takes on a pixelated appearance, with a body made entirely out of squares.

History

Term is a computer virus made in an unknown lab in an attempt to get valuable information from other terminals to rival against the current government of planet X. They were sent outwards through a network to try and gain the information from a "Terminal 2". Before reaching the terminal, Term was contacted by The Database telling Term to keep their guard up for anything preventing him from reaching the core. Later, Term’s plan was foiled when the player was deployed near a firewall, preventing him from going further.

Description

Appearance

Term is a light green square covered in pixels that form 2 extruding structures on both left and right. They are surrounded with 3 floating pixel squares and 2 pixel shield-like objects which are used to fire lasers. They have a rectangular eye on the center of their body.

Personality

Term is shown as angry towards the player for interrupting their plans. A single line of dialogue at the end of the level shows that Term is frustrated with being unable to defeat them, speaking in leet speak as he does so.

Abilities

Term is an infection Computer Virus, being able to manipulate code and change scripts that he normally wouldn't be able to access, including add in different games into the simulation. Term can also control his own appearance and violently remove or readd squares back onto himself as seen in the end of Terminal, however this does come with it's own downsides.

Trivia

  • Term was originally supposed to be in a collaboration level.
    • This level used the song Insane Inflame by Camellia where both Siecelesness and Jgamer610YT where they periodically swapped levels.
  • Term’s name is derived from the word Terminal.
  • Term is based off of a Computer Virus.
  • Term's appearance of his upper and lower "Shields" are references to open and closed brackets.
