Description
Three madmen on the side of Siley! They do not suspect that Siley is turning into a monster! You need to stop them and return the crystal before it's too late! My second level. In my opinion this is not a bad progress!

Three Madmen is the second level in the Lost Evil Collection created by MoNsTeR. It contains the bosses Chatterbox, Nipper, Loony, and the character Siley.

Layout

Throughout the level, Nipper, Loony, and Chatterbox use their own attacks to try to kill the player, while Siley is transformed by the Crystal he retrieved in the previous level.

Opening

A square character appears and gives a monologue to match the music, occasionally turning into Loony. At the end of this section, they simply leave.

Checkpoint 1

Loony, Nipper, and Chatterbox begin their attack pattern: Chatterbox summons beams and a big square spinning around him, followed by burping Nipper creating an increasing hollow square and Loony, laughing, passing through the map vertically. This pattern repeats while a triangle (the Crystal) is spinning in the center.

Checkpoint 2

The triangle descends and the three madmen pattern keeps repeating with horizontal and vertical beams and projectiles crossing the map.

Checkpoint 3

The loop is broken and Siley appears. He moves from side to side spawning tiny projectiles and his left eye is cyclically increasing while oblique beams are appearing. After a while, he descends and massive hollow triangles start rising. Smaller regular triangles jump on the bottom edge of the map and oblique beams keep spawning. Before the fourth checkpoint, the Crystal appears in the middle.

Checkpoint 4

The Crystal summons multiple narrow beams and tiny projectiles, and slowly increases.

Checkpoint 5

The Crystal descends and the three madmen's pattern starts repeating, but slightly different. The camera is zoomed out and moving up. Chatterbox now crosses the map and Loony's track is tilted.

After four repeats a regular pattern is repeated twice.

Checkpoint 6

Siley, Nipper, and Chatterbox appear. The crystal on Siley's head calms down so Chatterbox spins it to reactivate it, spawning beams.

Checkpoint 7

Loony and Nipper start the attack pattern without Chatterbox. The Crystal appears and shoots wide beams in different directions.

Checkpoint 8

In the final checkpoint, the three madmen repeat their default attack pattern. The level ends with Nipper chomping.
