Dyson, is a character created by Luminescence. He is a Navigator Star, appearing in Birth of the Sun as a part of its boss-rush. Dyson watches over the universe where Luminescence's storyline The Crystal Monarchy takes place.

Prior to becoming a Navigator Star, Dyson was known as Orion and acted as the player character of The Cracked Masonry.

Description

Appearance

Dyson's body is a five-pointed, yellow star. He has a face made of two circular eyes and one semicircle mouth. A circular ring floats around his body, which has four triangular points on it. His inner body resembles a pentagon.

Personality

Dyson is often kind but sometimes acts before he thinks, to the point of being reckless. Due to this, he has a slightly negative reputation among the other Navigator Stars, and also suffers from intrusive thoughts sometimes. Despite his reputation, he is determined to protect the universe of The Crystal Monarchy and would do anything to prevent any harm coming to it and his friends.

• Dyson is named after a dyson sphere, a megastructure that surrounds a star - tying into the ring around his body.
• At the end of Dyson's section in Birth of the Sun, an unknown entity seems to communicate to Dyson telepathically, whilst a black and white eye appears in the background behind him. While the origin and intention of this entity is currently unclear, it is assumed they are hostile or otherwise will play an antagonistic role if they appear in the storyline.
