Lights (Mr. Neon)
You all of a sudden get surrounded by a bunch of bright lights! Be careful!
Lights is a Project Arrhythmia level created by Mr. Neon. It is a short Basic difficulty level, which has been often recommended to new players due to its simple attacks and visuals.
Layout
Start
The level opens with square pulses appearing onscreen, alongside small square bullets which move horizontally. A lightbulb then appears in the center, which floats and rotates while attacking with lasers and bullets coming from it.
The lightbulb then transforms into a small circle, which flashes before splitting into two. The two circles float and grow before vanishing, followed by a brief countdown into the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 1
Walls appear on the top and bottom of the screen. Small cannons appear on the left and right periodically, which shoot lasers across. Circular pulses also regularly appear, with them occasionally lingering and shooting out bullets. Halfway through the checkpoint, the walls and lasers move to be horizontal instead of vertical. The level ends with the walls retracting and the name of the song and artist being displayed onscreen..

- Lights was originally uploaded as a Moderate difficulty level. Its difficulty was lowered in an update following several people getting an EXC rank on their first attempt.[1]
