My first published level! It's a bossfight too, so let me know how I did in the comments!Yggdrasil Leaf is an Advanced difficulty level created by Lumbud84. It features the boss Lumi in her debut, where she fights the player while being unaware of the danger she poses to them. The level was removed from the workshop a while its release due to the song artist, Nardis, being disallowed.
Layout
Start
Lumi is seen sleeping in the center of the screen, with her headphones slowly descending into place. She wakes up, and a few lines of text appear to introduce her. The level name appears as the gameplay begins.
Checkpoint 1
Lumi floats across the screen as a large amount of small square pulses appear. She then begins to pop in and out at the corners of the screen, releasing a square shockwave each time she appears. This attack requires dashing between each to avoid.
Checkpoint 2
Several vertical lasers appear as Lumi slowly floats up from the bottom. She begins powering up as a meter below her counts up from 0% to 100%. Once it is finished, Lumi attacks with a set of spinning beams. Several horizontal and vertical lasers appear throughout, as Lumi continues floating in the center. The beam attacks dissapear near the end of the checkpoint, being replaced by bullets from the bottom which have a slight resembelance to Lumi. The camera zooms in on Lumi as she winks before using her final attack in the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 3
- Lumi, Yggdrasil Leaf
The screen divides into four segments, with Lumi attacking each with giant beams on the beat. Occasionally, she attacks multiple at once. The segments soon begin rotating as the attacks continue. The attacks end after Lumi flashes red and briefly frowns. A line of dialogue reveals that she saw the entire fight as playing. Lumi says farewell to the player, hoping to see them again soon. A large rectangle covers her, with the credits appearing on it shortly afterwards.
