A new hope (Lavender Town Haunting) is the seventh level in the Lost Evil collection created by MoNsTeR. Set two days after the player’s burial at the end of Lost Evil’s first chapter, it features Gunter and Arvil as bosses who both fight each other for control of a blue crystal. Unlike the Lost Evil levels before it, Lavender Town Haunting uses a blue theme as opposed to red.
LAYOUT
Checkpoint 1
The level opens with the player stuck in the ground, likely from Siley burying it, and a robot lifting debris from the ground. Multiple triangles appear, shrink and disappear.
Checkpoint 2
Gunter appears. He starts to attack the player, while attacking Arvil's minions.
Checkpoint 3
Arvil appears, with his name under him. Later, Gunter appears and fights Arvil.
