{{Description|"I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." - Vincent Van Gogh<br>Thank you Markuris for the awesome thumbnail!}} Mutant is a boss-rush level created by ol666, featuring the characters King Crazy, Jestar Heart, Visket, Pilate, and Kitcat, all being controlled or imitated by a shadow-like entity. The level was originally created for the Shadows level contest, but was unable to be completed by the deadline. Mutant took 5 months to create.

Trivia

  • This level has more objects than Peer Gynt v2, possibly the most objects out of any level created by ol666.
  • This is the first level where Pilate is actually fought as a boss, as he doesn't attack the player in Twilight.
  • This is also the first appearance of Visket in a level, who was only mentioned in Peer-Stick Gynt-Man.
  • The pillars in Vikset's section resemble the Soul Pillars used by the Pure Vessel from Hollow Knight.
  • Pilate is the only boss who doesn't change to resemble the shadow creature midway through, instead changing near the end.
  • Kitcat's section is the longest of all the bosses.

This page is a glossary of common terms used within in the Project Arrhythmia community.

  • Storyline: A level collection where each level acts as a part of an ongoing story.
  • Cheese: An oversight with the attacks in a level that allows them to be avoided with little effort once the player is in a certain spot (a cheese spot).
  • Boss Rush: A level featuring multiple (usually more than 3) boss characters.
  • Cutscene: A level or part of a level that is entirely visual based, with no gameplay whatsoever. These are often used to progress the plot in a storyline.

bOLss

The bOLss, also nicknamed TriangOL, is a persona character that represents the creator ol666 as a boss. It acts as a sort of puppeteer character in the Black Heart boss rush level Song of Storms. The character was created by Crazy Train.

Description

The bOLss is made up of two black triangles put on top of each other. The bottom triangle has the number 6 in each of its corners.

Funk Hole

Description
GET BACK!

Funk Hole is a level created by ShatteredTesseract. The level uses a red and gray theme throughout, and features a red, triangular boss.

Layout

Opening

Red lasers appear on the screen as bullets fly out from the right. A simple introduction area.

Checkpoint 1

The boss of the level slowly grows in size, and walls appear on the top and bottom of the screen. After this, the spiked walls on the left and right appear as the triangle boss spins faster and faster. With the words “GET BACK!”, the boss slams itself into the right wall as the screen begins scrolling to the right.

The lasers return, and bullets are sent out from the boss’s body. The boss moves into the center and occasionally fires giant lasers from its three eyes.
